การท่องเที่ยวในช่วงเทศกาลเฉลิมฉลองส่งท้ายปีเก่าต้อนรับปีใหม่ 2566 กลับมามีบรรยากาศคึกคักอีกครั้งในรอบ 2 ปี ทั้งจากคนไทยเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในประเทศเพิ่มขึ้น และชาวต่างชาติที่มีแผนเดินทางเข้ามาท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทยในช่วงท้ายปีมากขึ้น ส่งผลให้ในระหว่างวันที่ 30 ธ.ค. 2565 ถึง 2 ม.ค 2566 คาดว่าจะมีเม็ดเงินกระจายสู่ธุรกิจท่องเที่ยวและเกี่ยวเนื่องคิดเป็นมูลค่าประมาณ 30,000 ล้านบาท หรือคิดเป็นสัดส่วนประมาณ 50% เมื่อเทียบกับช่วงเดียวกันของปี 2562 (ก่อนการระบาดของโควิด) ซึ่งแบ่งเป็นการใช้จ่ายของนักท่องเที่ยวไทยและต่างชาติ ดังนี้
